ST JOHN THE BAPTIST-ST TAMMANY-UPPER JEFFERSON-

...PATCHY DENSE FOG HAS DEVELOPED ACROSS AREAS ADJACENT TO AND
OVER LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN...

SEVERAL POINTS ALONG INTERSTATE 10 IN THE NEW ORLEANS METRO AREA
AND ACROSS LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN WERE REPORTING A QUARTER MILE TO A
MILE IN FOG. THIS FOG WILL SLOWLY LIFT BY MID MORNING.

MOTORISTS SHOULD DRIVE WITH EXTREME CAUTION AND ALLOW ADDITIONAL
TRAVEL TIME.

BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SUDDEN CHANGES IN VISIBILITY. THE PATCHY
NATURE OF THE FOG WILL DROP VISIBILITIES QUICKLY IN A SHORT DISTANCE.
IN ADDITION...VISIBILITIES MAY BECOME SEVERELY RESTRICTED NEAR
RIVERS...LAKES...BRIDGES...AND LOW LYING AREAS.
