FCC Co-Hosting Conferences on Accessible Mobile Communications & Access to Broadband - December 5 - 7

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is co-hosting the International M-Enabling Summit & Showcase at FCC headquarters and at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. The conference will take place on December 5 and 6. Speakers will discuss ways to increase the availability and use of accessible mobile communications and services among senior citizens and people with disabilities. The FCC is also co-hosting the Broadband Adoption and Persons with Disabilities Inquiry Workshop. This free event at will be held at FCC headquarters in Washington, D.C., on December 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. The workshop will look at ways to measure and promote broadband distribution and use by people with disabilities around the world.
